Cara Cara Oranges and Cream

Ingredients
- 3 Cara Cara oranges, supremed
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅛ cup Cara Cara orange juice
- 1 tsp Cara Cara orange zest, plus more for garnish
- 1 tbsp turbinado sugar
Instructions
- Zest one orange until you have 1 tsp. Set the zest aside in a small bowl.
- Supreme the three oranges and set the flesh segments aside. Squeeze what remains of the oranges after supreming and collect the juice until you have 1/8 cup.
- In a bowl, add the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, orange juice and orange zest. Using a hand mixer, beat on low and increase to medium-high as the cream thickens, about 2-3 minutes until done.
- Place the orange segments into serving dishes and top with a large dollop of the orange whipped cream. Sprinkle with turbinado sugar and finish with extra orange zest. Enjoy immediately!
