Add ¼ of the jar of salsa verde to the bottom of the Instant Pot. Place the chicken breast tenders in the pot, making one even layer across the bottom.
Season the chicken with the salt and pepper. Pour the remaining salsa over the chicken. Add the chopped cilantro and jalapeño, and gently stir to disperse over the chicken.
Set the Instant Pot to: "Pressure Cook" and select "Chili," then set the time to 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, release the steam and open the Instant Pot. Using two forks, gently shred the chicken and stir.
For tacos, heat tortillas, add a generous helping of chicken chili verde, and serve topped with queso fresco, cilantro, and avocado. For a lighter option, serve with chopped romaine lettuce, for a delicious salad.
