Slice the loaf into strips in one direction, cutting only about 2/3 of the way through the loaf. Then, rotate the loaf 90 degrees and cut strips in the opposite direction, creating a grid pattern. Be sure to use a sharp, serrated knife!
Melt the butter, then mix in the parsley, garlic, Asiago, Parmesan, and pepper.
Spoon the cheesy garlic butter into the rows, making sure to slather every crevice. Sprinkle the top with extra Parmesan.
Place the loaf on a piece of foil and wrap the outside so that the top still remains open. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes.
Just before serving, use a knife to loosen between the bread pieces. Sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley and enjoy!
