Energy & Lactation Oat Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 cups organic rolled oats
  • cup ground flaxseed
  • 2 scoops preferred protein powder
  • ½ cup peanut butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cup raw pepitas
  • ¼ cup raw almonds, chopped
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • cup hemp hearts
  • ¼ cup unsweetened desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate, chopped or chips
  • cup freeze-dried raspberries or strawberries
  • 1-1 ½ cups almond milk

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients, except the almond milk, in a large bowl. Add about a third of the the almond milk and begin mixing. Continue adding the almond milk and mixing well until all of the ingredients begun to bind together. If you can press a handful of the mixture together and it holds, you are ready to roll balls. If not, add small splashes of almond milk until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Roll into 12 2-inch balls and place in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 hours before eating. These bites will last up to 4 days in the fridge!
