Jena's Favorite Green Juice

Equipment

  • 1 juicer

Ingredients

  • 1 head organic curly kale, washed
  • 2 organic green apples, washed
  • Half of 1 large organic cucumber, washed
  • 2 organic lemons, washed
  • 1 cup organic spinach,
  • 2 ½ cups organic celery

Instructions

  • Wash all of your produce extremely well! Chop the kale into 1 inch pieces, including the stalks. Chop the apples, removing the core and seeds. Chop the cucumbers and celery into small pieces.
  • Cut the peel away from the lemons, leaving the pitch and fruit. Cut the lemon into small chunks, removing the seeds.
  • Feed the kale, apple, cucumbers, celery, lemon, and spinach into the juicer in batches. Mix well and enjoy! Optional: scoop the foam from the top of the juice and discard for a clearer juice.
  • Drink immediately or store in bottles in the fridge for up to two days.
